About
Gayle Knapp entered the world of art in a kindergarten classroom with a simple box of Crayola crayons. A love affair with color and image began right there. Now living in the shadow of Mt. Monadnock, Gayle is a fine art photographer with a penchant for photographing objects that exhibit the patina of age. She has several bodies of work in progress. Bits of Time, Barns Strong and Firm Upon the American Landscape, and Andrew Wyeth: Under the Influence and all center around the broad theme of times past. She has an image published in LensWork’s Light, Glorious Light 2023 and she exhibited the image Eventide in the 87th Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft, Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg, MA. Her images also reside in private collections.
